Cliff Townhouse seafood restaurant serves brilliantly executed Dublin classics, from head chef Sean Smith. Staples include West Cork Scallops, Galway Bay Mussels, Dublin Bay Prawns, Native Irish Lobster served as a half or whole, Donegal Cod Steak or a Fillet of Halibut or decide to build your own seafood platter. The Oyster and Champagne Bar serves a selection of Irish oysters and caviar.
Urchin Bar is situated on the lower ground floor of Cliff Townhouse. Food menus include many sharing options such as Seafood Platters, Salted Tiger Prawns, Chorizo in Cider and Patatas Bravas. Drinks are available from our full bar, with a great selection of craft beers, Guinness and IPA on draught alongside our extensive cocktail, G&T and spritzers list. Urchin Bar is available for private events and has a capacity of 55 people.

HISTORY OF CLIFF TOWNHOUSE
Cliff Townhouse, a boutique hotel on 22 St Stephen’s Green is a late 17th century house, originally the home of the Earl of Shelbourne. During the 20th century, Samuel Beckett spent some time writing here. In 2008, chef Richard Corrigan established Bentley’s restaurant at the townhouse. The O’Callaghan family took over the entire property in 2010. Since 2010 Sean Smith has been working as Head Chef. The nine guestrooms have been renovated to create a modern restaurant-with-rooms within this classically beautiful building. Cliff Townhouse is part of CLIFF Group.
